I agree Chris. Something has to happen with this building soon. I do think we need to work on getting more "live" into downtown, vs. thinking about how to get the homeless out of downtown. Preserving the Armory and finding a use for it attracting people to come downtown will be great. I just hope this can be funded in time.

Hmmm. A few years ago, wasn't this same basic conversation being had about the Jewish Community Center? And how did that work out?

I have heard quite a few ppl say downtown needs a new strip bar,,, but then we would have strippers wandering thru the streets of SPR.

How about a Southern Rock Hall of fame? After all, the South does it better, does it not?
