Can anyone give me any information in 1628 N Laura....seems as it is up for rent, but it may be a scam. Can anyone help?

If I am remember correctly, this is one of the "older" infill houses ("Bank of America Houses" ?) built around 2000. It has been for rent via "Prop Voice", which is a reputable local rental agency. I don't see the house on their website right now (http://www.propvoice.com/property-gallery.html ), but I am not sure how up to date the site is.

But check with Prop Voice (is it Sharon? don't remember the name right now). They operate out of the SPAR building on Main Street.

It is listed on Zillow. I don't know if that means it's not a scam. Here is the link. It had a property manager listed.

Yes I have tried to contact the property manager on Zillow, but I think it's a scam asking me to wire and transfer money. I will try and contact Prop Voice, thanks.

Don't transfer/wire money. This does sound odd. There is a realtor lock on the house as of yesterday, but no "for rent" sign.

I checked with the realtor who had the listing and he thinks this is definitely a scam.

The house is in foreclosure because the owner refused to cooperate.

WHOA LOTS of misinformation. I am the listing agent on the sale side. The house is not in foreclosure, the owner is short selling. The house is under contract. The house is being falsly advertised as for rent. I won't say by who but the authorities have been notified and the owner is legally dealing with the situation.
