Tres Leches moving out?

Seems like it's now or never for thier current location to survive in SPR.

It's too bad there was never a high traffic, high visible location on Main or 8th Street that would fit their needs.

Being tucked away into half a residential building certainly isn't ideal for a retail businesses.

Hopefully they'll find a way to stick around.

My understanding is that they will be closing the Springfield location.

I hate to see them go. I stop in for lunch pretty often and will miss having them right down the road but I can't blame them for doing what is best for their business.

Not surprised. When I saw the post about them opening a "2nd location" in Riverside, this is what I figured. Too bad.

I believe they do not have the ability to build a wheelchair access ramp or to fireproof the area where they cook. It is so sad to see them go

It was kind of a strange location. Eddie and Irene said they looked at storefronts in Springfield, but the landlords wanted unreasonable rents for them. How often have we heard that before?

That's why they ended up in a modified apartment. The sign is down already. I think they may already have closed. :(

But where they moved to will be excellent for them, so sad for us, glad for them.

Hi to all!

Our Springfield store is still open for business and will remain open as long we can. Unfortunately we had a major plumbing issue today and we had to close until it is fixed, but hopefully it will be later today. We used our banner at RAM last Saturday so that is the reason it wasn't up for the weekend. Our banner is back up now!

Thanks to all Tres Leches supporters! We have done everything in our power to support Springfield and build our business here, however we have several limitations in our current space and we are confident that the new location will be better suited for a steady flow of customers.
